Let’s start by getting to know one another. My name is Jon. No “h” ok…just Jon. I have yet to meet a Don or Ron who spell their names Dohn or Rohn. Just sayin’. Now to the really important things “about me”. I was once on the Bloomingdale baseball 8 year old all star team. I recently won a chili competition and was the only one to enter it. My jeans are too tight. My back is killing me and my dadbod is most likely the explanation. I am great at starting things and even better at not finishing them. I am allergic to sulfa and long books. I am a raving fan of the 3 girls I live with, two are my daughters and one is my wife. I cheer for the Cubs and anyone who is playing against the Packers. I love specialty coffee, my Big Green Egg and church planting.
In 2011 me and my partner in crime Tommy Bowman planted Mission Church through the New Thing Network and have never been the same since. As for this site, I decided to launch Church Planting Online to virtually walk along side of you and add value to one of the greatest things you can give your life to…PLANTING A CHURCH!!
